Communication interface between PC and modules on a DALI Bus.

• The DALI-2 USB is recognized as hardware interface / serial port interface. Windows 10 and higher includes automatic drivers for recognizing the device. Drivers for windows 7 and lower are available on request.
• After installation the device can be found in the Windows Device Manager section “Ports (COM)”
• The DALI-2 USB supports the transmission and monitoring of Standard DALI commands as well as several proprietary protocol extensions.

Overview

• The compact DALI relay module allows direct control of 230V AC loads via DALI and is available in DALI-2 certified variants (art. nr.: 86456944-_ and 86456203 -_).
• It enables integration of ballasts without DALI input into a DALI lighting control system, allowing loads to be switched ON and OFF by DALI commands.
• The DALI RM8/16 module meets the requirements for DALI Device Type 7 (switching function) with firmware 2.0 and higher.
• This module includes configurable Power-Up and System-Failure behavior and is supported by the free DALI-Cockpit software package for configuring DALI systems and Lunatone DALI components.
• The RM8/16 is powered directly by the DALI signal line and features zero-cross switching.
• The RM16-HS and RM16-DE variants (art. nr.: 86458629-HS, 86456203-HS, 86458629-DE, 86456203-DE) include an integrated current limiter, making them suitable for loads with high inrush current (>100A).
• The DALI RM8/16 module functions like any conventional DALI ballast, allowing it to be addressed and configured as needed.
