The Eelectron WS00A01KNX is a KNX weather station that measures wind speed, rain, brightness on four sides, twilight, temperature, humidity, air pressure and global radiation, and carries a GPS/GLONASS receiver for position and time. It supplies the sun-tracking, wind-alarm and frost-protection data that shading actuators and HVAC controllers need, in one compact sensor on the roof or facade.

The head is heated for rain and wind sensing in winter, rated IP44, and powered with 24 V AC or 21–32 V DC (100–400 mA) alongside the bus connection; up to three stations can share a line. Global radiation to 1300 W/m² and brightness to 150 klx make it suitable for solar-gain calculations as well as blind control in offices, hotels and residences.

In ETS each measured value is available as a group object with configurable send-on-change and cyclic transmission, and threshold objects with hysteresis and delay provide ready-made wind, rain, frost and brightness alarms for the shading logic of actuators such as SA04K01KNX or the IOxxF01KNX series. The GPS receiver also supplies the time and date to the bus, so a separate time master is not required. Mounting should give the wind sensor free airflow and the four brightness sensors an unobstructed view to east, south, west and the zenith.
