Eelectron SO08A01KNX KNX Touch Sensor LITE 8-way, 3-module – white

The Eelectron SO08A01KNX is the flagship OL-U KNX wall switch: 8 mechanical buttons giving 16 channels, each key with its own RGB LED, a capacitive swipe bar across the centre and a built-in two-stage room thermostat. It is sold as bare hardware — the key set and cover frame are chosen separately from the FENIX, Metal and painted-plastic editions — so a single device part number serves every interior scheme in a hotel, office or residence.

Every key is assigned in ETS: on/off, dimming, shutters and blinds, scenes, sequences, thermostat setpoint and mode, or any other KNX function. The thermostat has a PI controller for heating and cooling with valves, 6-way valves and 2- or 4-pipe fan coils, fed by the on-board temperature sensor; 32 logic blocks cover logical, threshold, algebraic and conditional expressions plus proportional control and dew-point calculation.

For hospitality the device carries Eelectron's Virtual Holder logic: a magnetic door contact on a digital input, combined with other sensors on the bus, lets the device infer whether the room is really occupied and tell unexpected presence from a guest's return, which does the job of a keycard holder. The device supports KNX Data Secure and includes the bus coupler. The swipe bar reads quick swipes (scene recall), slow swipes (dimming, setpoint, colour), single tap, double tap and long press.

It mounts on a 2- or 3-module box (Italian 502/503, German, British or Swiss) via the FO71A01 metal frame, and the OL-U plate system lets neighbouring receptacles share the same finish.
