The Eelectron PS00E03KNX is a 640 mA KNX power supply with an isolated signalling contact, intended for panels where a BMS, PLC or alarm input must know that the KNX line is healthy. The contact (12–230 V AC / 2–30 V DC, 5 mA to 2 A) follows the overload and overvoltage state shown on the front LEDs, and the 1.5 A short-circuit limit protects the line.
The supply accepts 180–264 V AC or 240–250 V DC, runs at 87 % efficiency with only 2.9 W dissipation, keeps the bus between 28 and 31 V across all outputs and offers several reset modes from the front. It occupies 4 DIN modules (72 mm) and needs no ETS application.
The signalling contact is typically wired to a digital input of the building management system or to an alarm module so that bus overload or overvoltage is reported immediately; it can also drive a panel indicator lamp. The DC input option allows the unit to run from a battery-backed 240 to 250 V DC distribution in installations with central backup power. Installation is by a licensed electrician on a dedicated breaker, with the KNX output wired through the standard red/black bus terminal.
