The Eelectron PM30E01IRE is a three-phase, four-wire 80 A direct-connected energy meter with MID certification (class B), two tariffs, two S0 pulse outputs and an infrared port for the PM00A00IRI KNX interface. It meters 230/400 V feeds for apartments, restaurants, plant rooms and tenant areas with billing-grade accuracy, and in 4 DIN modules it fits any distribution board.
Through the PM00A00IRI the KNX system receives energy per tariff, active and reactive power and alarms, so load shedding, dashboards and cost allocation can be built in ETS or a visualization without a Modbus gateway.
The S0 outputs can feed pulse-counting binary inputs (BI04F01KNX, BI16F01KNX) where a KNX interface is not used, and the tariff input lets the utility signal or a KNX actuator select the active register. The display shows total and per-tariff energies, instantaneous power per phase and diagnostic information. Installation is by a licensed electrician in a sealed cabinet, with the meter protected by the upstream breaker. Readings include active and reactive energy per tariff and per direction, instantaneous active, reactive and apparent power, and voltage and current per phase, which the KNX interface can forward to logic blocks for peak-load limiting of HVAC or EV chargers. The compact 4-module footprint keeps it alongside the breakers it meters, and the IR coupling to the KNX interface avoids any additional wiring in the metering circuit.
