The Eelectron PD00E02KNX is the Multi.Sensor version of the KNX ceiling presence detector range in white. On top of PIR presence detection and an illuminance sensor it carries temperature and relative-humidity sensors with their own control algorithms, plus a sound sensor that keeps the occupancy state alive in rooms with alcoves or partitions the infrared element cannot see. One device therefore covers lighting, HVAC and indoor-climate monitoring for a hotel room, private office, classroom or apartment living area.

The humidity sensor drives threshold-with-hysteresis control of humidifiers and dehumidifiers; the integrated 2-stage PI thermostat drives valves and 2- or 4-pipe fan coils; and 12 logic blocks can combine any of these with the 3 rear dry-contact inputs. A smart-sensor input also accepts the SM03E02ACC (VOC + eCO2) or SM03E03ACC (true CO2) plug-in for indoor air quality. Circadian Rhythm lighting and the Virtual Holder hospitality logic complete the application. The black sibling is PD00E02KNX-3.
