The Eelectron PD00E02KNX-3 is the Multi.Sensor version of the KNX ceiling presence detector range in black. On top of PIR presence detection and an illuminance sensor it carries temperature and relative-humidity sensors with their own control algorithms, plus a sound sensor that keeps the occupancy state alive in rooms with alcoves or partitions the infrared element cannot see. One device therefore covers lighting, HVAC and indoor-climate monitoring for a hotel room, private office, classroom or apartment living area.

The humidity sensor drives threshold-with-hysteresis control of humidifiers and dehumidifiers; the integrated 2-stage PI thermostat drives valves and 2- or 4-pipe fan coils; and 12 logic blocks can combine any of these with the 3 rear dry-contact inputs. A smart-sensor input also accepts the SM03E02ACC (VOC + eCO2) or SM03E03ACC (true CO2) plug-in for indoor air quality. Circadian Rhythm lighting and the Virtual Holder hospitality logic complete the application. The white sibling is PD00E02KNX.
