The Eelectron PB40A01DL2 is a DALI-2 pushbutton interface with 4 dry-contact inputs, powered from the DALI line, for connecting conventional pushbuttons to a DALI-2 application controller such as the Eelectron IC01D03DAL. It is certified to IEC 62386-301 (push buttons) and -332 (feedback), so wall switches, bedside buttons and door contacts can control DALI lighting without a KNX device in the room.
Bus load is at most 6 mA, so many interfaces fit on one line. The 34.7 x 34.7 x 12 mm module sits in the wall box behind the switch, inputs may run up to 10 m, and it operates from 0 to +50 °C.
Each input is assigned in the application controller to DALI groups, scenes or individual control gear, so a single 4-button plate can switch, dim and recall scenes for a room. The interface is powered entirely from the DALI line and requires no mains or KNX connection in the wall box, which keeps the room wiring simple in offices and hotel rooms that run a DALI-2 lighting system.
