The Eelectron IO42E01KNX is a flush-mount (in-wall) KNX multifunction module with 4 inputs, 2 bistable relay outputs and an integrated Bluetooth Low Energy beacon, configurable in ETS for KNX Data Secure. At 52 x 28 mm it fits behind a switch plate or in a ceiling box, which makes it the natural choice for retrofits and for hotel rooms where a few local loads and contacts must join the bus without running cable back to the panel.

Two inputs are digital, one is digital/analog and one is digital/analog/smart-sensor: NTC probes (TS01A01ACC, TS01B01ACC, TS01D01ACC) feed a complete 2-stage PI thermostat, and input 4 accepts the SM03E01ACC (CO₂ + temperature) or SM03E02ACC (VOC/eCO₂ + temperature) plug-in sensors for air quality. The two 10 A relays work independently, as a shutter pair, as a servomotor pair or with logic interlock. The iBeacon/Eddystone-compatible BLE beacon lets a guest app detect which room it is in, and the Virtual Holder logic derives reliable occupancy from a door contact plus presence sensors.
