The Eelectron IN00S01RIP is a KNX IP router with KNX IP Secure. It couples a KNX TP line or area to the IP backbone with filtered routing, and at the same time serves up to 8 tunneling connections for ETS and visualization. Multicast routing over the LAN replaces TP main lines in larger buildings, which simplifies cabling between floors and technical rooms.

The filter table covers main groups 0 to 31, a 150-telegram buffer absorbs traffic peaks, and both routing and tunneling can be secured with AES-128. The device draws about 20 mA from the bus and needs only a single DIN module.

In a secure installation the router's backbone key and tunnel passwords are generated and distributed by ETS, so unauthorized IP clients cannot inject telegrams onto the TP line. The filter table is built automatically from the project and limits which group addresses pass between the line and the backbone, protecting the TP segment from unnecessary traffic. Diagnostics LEDs make it easy to see routing activity and buffer overflow conditions during commissioning.
