The Eelectron IC01E01BAC is a KNX–BACnet/IP gateway that publishes up to 250 KNX group objects as BACnet objects, so a building management system can read and write lighting, HVAC and shading points from the KNX installation. It supports COV subscription and Read Property services and includes a web server for configuration and diagnostics, which covers the typical requirements of office and healthcare integrations.

The gateway is powered from the KNX bus plus a 24 V DC auxiliary supply (about 40 mA, 1 W), ships with the default IP address 192.168.1.135 and is configured with ETS 4 or later. The 4-module DIN housing (70 x 58 x 90 mm) fits beside the KNX IP devices in the main panel.

On the BACnet side, each mapped KNX object is exposed with its own object identifier and can be read on demand or subscribed to for change-of-value notifications, which keeps network traffic low on large systems. On the KNX side the gateway behaves like any other bus participant and is assigned its physical address and group links in ETS. The combination lets a facility BMS monitor room temperatures, setpoints, lighting states and alarms coming from the KNX installation and send schedules or setpoint overrides back, without any custom protocol development.
