The Eelectron IC00M01KNX is a bidirectional KNX–Modbus RTU gateway in a 1-module DIN housing. It maps up to 250 Modbus registers to KNX group objects and can act as Modbus client (master) polling meters, VFDs, chillers and heat pumps, or as a Modbus server exposing KNX data to a BMS or PLC over RS-485. That makes it the standard way to bring energy meters, HVAC plant and third-party controllers into a KNX system.
Fifty logic blocks allow scaling, thresholds and conditional processing in the gateway itself, the Virtual Holder logic is included for hospitality presence detection, and KNX Data Secure protects the bus side. An end-of-line termination jumper for the RS-485 bus is on board and the device is bus-powered at 15 mA.
