The Eelectron ES01A00KNX is a 9-channel KNX time switch with astronomical function for scheduling lighting, shading, HVAC set-backs and access control from the panel. Channel 1 is also available on a physical relay, the other eight act on the bus, and together they hold 450 programs with 900 switching events including sunrise/sunset times offset by up to ±120 minutes.
The clock keeps time with a replaceable CR14250 battery, handles daylight-saving changes automatically, can be synchronized from the ES01A00ACC GPS module, and is operated from the front in five languages with password protection. It suits facade lighting, retail opening hours and any installation that must run fixed schedules independently of a visualization server.
Programs are entered on the front panel or copied between devices, and each channel sends its state to the bus as a 1-bit object that any actuator or scene controller can use. Holiday periods and one-off date programs override the weekly schedule, and the astronomical function uses the site coordinates (entered manually or received from the GPS module) to calculate daily sunrise and sunset. Because the schedules are stored in the device, they continue to run if a visualization server or network is down.
