The CoolAutomation CooLinkHub aggregates up to 10 CoolPlugs, the small interfaces that connect individual split, multi-split and mini-split indoor units, and presents them to home automation and building management systems as one integration point. CoolPlugs link to the hub over a 2.4 GHz wireless mesh or a wired PBUS (shielded twisted pair), so retrofit projects can be done without opening walls or ceilings.

The hub offers RS232 (ASCII), RS485 (Modbus RTU, BACnet MS/TP) and Ethernet (ASCII, Modbus IP, BACnet IP) interfaces, configurable I/Os and an LCD screen to set up and monitor connected CoolPlugs. Web and mobile apps add remote control. One hub per group of up to 10 indoor units; add hubs to grow the system.

Typical Applications
