The CoolAutomation CN105 splitter lets a CoolPlug ME and the Mitsubishi Electric wired remote controller share the indoor unit's single CN105 port. Without it, connecting the CoolPlug to CN105 means giving up the wired remote; with it, both run in parallel, so occupants keep their familiar wall controller while the automation system or BMS gets full control and feedback.
It is a passive plug-in accessory installed at the indoor unit PCB, with no configuration required. Typical uses are hotels, offices and homes where Mitsubishi Electric splits are being integrated without removing existing controls.
