The U-5 is a replacement ultrasonic sensor head for the arcus SK80-F KNX fill-level meter. It measures tank levels from 300 to 5,000 mm (11.8 to 196.9 in) with 0.5 % FS accuracy and also reports temperature.

The sensor mounts at the top of the tank facing down, with at least 30 cm (11.8 in) of clearance to the full level. It ships on a 10 m (32.8 ft) cable, is rated IP65 and is intended for drinking, domestic and rain water. Power comes from the SK80-F control unit.
