Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior experience?+
Not for the Basic course or the Basic + Advanced program — they start from zero and are designed for electricians, integrators and engineers new to KNX. The Advanced course on its own requires a completed KNX Basic certification and ETS experience.
Do I need to buy an ETS6 license?+
No — a free cloud-based ETS6 Lite license (worth $250) is included, covering projects up to 20 devices. After passing your Basic exam you also receive a $250 voucher toward your ETS Pro license.
Where does the training take place?+
All training is on-site, in person, at our Training Centers in Miami (FL, USA), Barcelona (Spain) and Bogotá (Colombia). Every program includes 1–3 days of practical sessions on real KNX hardware and the official certification exams. Next trainings: August 19 in Miami and Barcelona, August 26 in Bogotá.
Which option should I choose?+
New to KNX and serious about working in automation? The Basic + Advanced program is the complete path and saves you $725. Want to test the waters first? Start with Basic — you can always upgrade. Already a certified KNX Partner? Go straight to Advanced.
Can I get help with my own project?+
