It frames a pair of 55 x 55 mm receptacles or devices in the OL-U look, replacing two plates with one continuous surface — the usual bedside or entry arrangement in hotel rooms and apartments. It mounts on two boxes coupled at 71 mm centres (74 mm for British boxes) via the dedicated metal frame.

The finish is metal, black (MV-BK), one of the four 2026 additions to the OL-U Metal Edition beside the original silver (MT-SH); the MV code supersedes the earlier MT code for the coloured metals. The same tone runs across the BKxxMV-BK key sets and every PO-series frame format, so keypad, thermostat and adjacent receptacles can share one metal. Other tones: champagne (MV-CH), gold (MV-GO), bronze (MV-BR).

Key Features

Type: double socket cover frame 55+55

Finish: metal, black (MV-BK) — OL-U Metal Edition

Fits: two 2-module boxes coupled at 71 mm centres (74 mm for British standard)

Mounting frame (ordered separately): FOXXA01-5555

Inserts screw to the metal frame; plate hooks on the left and presses home on the right

Outer size approx. 163 x 92 mm (6.42 x 3.62 in)

Clean with a soft microfibre cloth and water or neutral soap only; no solvents or abrasives

Technical Specifications

Type

OL-U cover frame — double socket cover frame 55+55

Finish / colour

metal, black (MV-BK)

Material

metal, black finish

Compatible boxes

two 2-module boxes coupled at 71 mm centres (74 mm for British standard)

Compatible hardware

two 55 x 55 mm (German standard) inserts: Merten System M, Berker S.1 / B.3 / B.7, Gira System 55, Jung A / AS, Smarterliving bv

Required mounting frame

FOXXA01-5555

Outer dimensions

approx. 163 x 92 mm (6.42 x 3.62 in)

Manufacturer part no.

PO55A55MV-BK

Related Products

Other tones: PO55A55MV-CH, PO55A55MV-GO, PO55A55MV-BR; silver PO55A55MT-SH; FENIX PO55A55FX-0030 … -0754; painted plastic PO55A55PL-1 / -3.
